“What a Great Ocean View from the private Pool of the House!! I also stayed in one of their apartments, their pool as well have a spectacular vie to the Pacific Ocean and breathtaking sunsets. The hosts and their team are very helpful and friendly. And the best: our dogs were welcome and enjoyed their stay as much as we did. To Dog owners: to maintain this place dog friendly control your dogs and clean up after them, thank you! Overall one of the best places we stayed in the Uvita region! ”

“The good: This is an excellent hotel with spectacular views, friendly staff, and a zen atmosphere. The bad: There is 1.8 KM of unpaved steep rocky road before you get to the gate and another kilometer before getting to the property. This is bad enough that we decided to give up 2 prepaid nights and leave early despite having a 2WD SUV (To their credit, hotel credit us for our incidentals, which accounted for part of the nightly rate). I highly recommend this hotel as long as you have known brand...

“The view from the room overlooking the bay is very nice, but the room has no air conditioning/heat pump so it is hard to enjoy as it is very hot. There also are no screens in the bathroom so every night there are many insects, several of them are quite large. It made for a much less enjoyable stay especially at this price point. At the very least, I would suggest they install screens so that there won’t be as many insects.”

“There were so many monkeys every day. We saw toucans Maciel’s, spider monkeys and capuchins. There are so many trees and flowers that makes this place so beautiful. The staff were so lovely and helped us organize tours and taxis while we were there. The beach is right in front and this area of Costa Rica is so beautiful. ”

“Loved the pool and the fact that the staff went out of their way to make you feel welcome, they even went through the trouble of bringing “manzanas de agua” from the tree,clean them and served them pool side on a plate with salt on the side. “Hotel Margarita had an amazing vibe, it was blending with nature perfectly. Our room has a nice glass wall facing trees and forests. Every morning a very handsome woodpecker would come and curiously check us, it was really unique. The pool was nice, the staff was super polite and helpful, breakfast was nice and quite filling (fruits, coffee and juice on top of your main option.).
